I have been programming for more than a decade now. Here are some important milestones I have achieved along the way.
Created my first Hello World! program on Intel 386 in FoxPro.
1998
First Position in All Pakistan on spot programming competition held by International Islamic University.
2001
Completed my M.Sc. at Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad and got 1st position in the batch.
2002
Joined Jin Technologies Pvt Limited as Software Developer and got my first paycheck.
2002
Promoted to Project Manager designation, and this was the fastest career growth record in the company.
2003
Got my first 2.0 channel R/C plane and that was the start of my second best hobby of building and flying R/C planes.
2004
Taught Application Development course as a Visiting Faculty at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
2005
Became Microsoft Professional Partner at Jin Technologies Pvt Limited, and started giving presentations and lectures as Microsoft guest speaker.
2007
Created my first blog on WordPress and started posting articles, tips and tricks there.
2008
Started managing Jin Technologies Multan Office as Sr. Application Architect.
2009
Dynamic Language Tools and USB Disk Manager projects start getting international recognition. USB Disk Manager is featured on CNet.
2011
Celebrated 10 years at Jin Technologies Pvt Limited, and got a nice 4-channel R/C helicopter gift from the Company.
2012
Launched my new website in hand-built new Swift MVC framework for PHP & MySQL.
2014
One million translations via Subtitle Translator, and still couting...
2017

By the year 20XX (will fill-in the exact year digits soon), I'm going to get the Turing Award to cover up this not-so-impressive milestone list. No, I'm not kidding :-)
